Exhibition news of this year's AA2A artists
Leeds College of Art and DesignVictoria Ferrand-Scott's sculpture was accepted from 10,000 entries for the Royal Academy of Art's Summer Show, 9th June - 17th August 2008.
Victoria Ferrand-Scott, Robert Thompson and Laura Davies have an exhibition of their work at the College's Mosaic cafe bar at Blenheim Walk from 21st April - 9th May 2008.
University of Cumbria
The University is showcasing work in progress from its six AA2A artists at Brampton Road campus: 14th April – 23rd May 2008 & Caldegate campus: 14th – 25th April 2008.
Maggie Ayres is showing work as part of 'Spring Fling', Scotland's premiere open studios event from 24th - 26th May 2008. She also talks about her experience of AA2A and shows her work on the youtube website
University of Sunderland
Richard Wheater has produced a new neon chandelier on the AA2A scheme at the University. This will be on show during a private viewing at the Durker chapel Studio, Wakefield in June 2008
Hull School of Art and Design
Ellie Collins (AA2A artist 2007/08) gave a talk to students as part of the Visiting Speaker series in March 2008. She also had a solo show 'New works on Paper' at the Kuntur Gallery, Amsterdam in April 2008.
University of Central Lancashire
Linda Robinson's AA2A work will be on exhibition at The Artroom Gallery, Garstang, from 22nd May 2008.
Printmaking - Linda Robinson & Jayne Simpson showed AA2A work to students and staff on 29th April 2008.
Sadly Peter Cunliffe (twice an AA2A artist) died in February. His exhibition, 'Circus Series' continued as planned at the Blackburn Museum and Art Gallery from 8th March - 31st May 2008
Liverpool Community College
Kai Oi Jay Yung is showing an exhibition of work produced on the AA2A scheme on www.myspace.com/paradisestories
University of Derby
Kelly Gardner is one of 3 artists in the 'Body and Soul' exhibition at the Ropewalk Contemporary Arts & Craft, Barton upon Humber, North Lincs from 19th April - 1st June 2008. Kelly's photograms can be seen at www.kellygardner.co.uk/pgrams.htm.

University of Wolverhampton
David Walton, a member of Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, has an exhibition in their Craft Gallery from 18th May - 14th June2008. It includes prints produced on AA2A.
AA2A artists will be exhibiting alongside the Degree Shows from 5th - 12th June & 5th - 12th September 2008.
Leroy Henry has been invited to exhibit at Birmingham Symphony Hall from 1st - 31st July 2008
University of Worcester
AA2A artists will exhibit with the University's Graduart programme from 12th - 14th June 2008 in the Cotswold Gallery.
Hereford College of Arts
AA2A artists will be exhibiting at the College from 1st - 14th May 2008.
Norwich School of Art and Design
Sarah Wilson is exhibiting work produced on AA2A at the Norfolk & Norwich University hospital in May, June & July as part of the hospital arts programme.
Polly Cruse's show of posters produced on AA2A, entitled 'Pussy Cat Pussy Cat' is at 'Windows204' in Bristol from 4th - 24th May 2008.
AA2A artists, Polly, Sarah, Maria & Blanca are planning an exhibition at 'The Project Space' at N.S.A.D. for January 2009.
University of Hertfordshire
AA2A artists Carry Ackroyd, Heather Jukes and Fiona Zobole are exhibiting during the University Faculty's End of Year Show from 22nd - 30th May 2008.
Fiona Zobole has an exhibition of work she made while on AA2A at the Letchworth Art Centre, Letchworth from 2nd - 28th May. The show is called: T3Xtr@l.
University College for the Creative Arts at Canterbury
AA2A artists have a two day show at the Herbert Read Gallery at UCCA on 29th and 30th April 2008
