My work as a result of AA2A has been a combination of my knowledge of precious metals and intensive learning about slip casting porcelain. By using the casting technique I have been able to explore my interest in multiples and pattern created by form. The scale of the work is larger then I normally work, which has been an interesting new aspect to the way I work.

Porcelain lends itself nicely to the qualities of metal. The colour and texture of the materials interest me, along with the combination of fragility and strength. Future work will look at different types of porcelain to achieve more translucency and whiteness.
