Being a part of this scheme has been particularly rewarding in terms of my professional practise. Building upon my skills and exploring new ways of making were also fundamental to my experience with the emphasis being placed on enjoyment. It allowed me the opportunity to really explore ideas, enjoying the successes and failures en route and ultimately moving forward in my artistic development.

I was continuing my research through photography. Accessing the college's dark rooms and print areas continued to inform my 3 dimensional works and the dialogue with both students and staff has been enlightening. I was able to experiment with silver gelatin, liquid light emulsion which I have never used before, on polystyrene domes and glass petri dishes. This scheme has inspired me to exhibit work through a solo exhibition.
