Thanks to this award I have been able to secure a commission from Addenbrokes hospital to produce over thirty large paintings and prints for the children's plastic surgery unit/dermatology department. It will be used to produce a complete visual identity for the department and develop key imagery for the speech therapy uniit and waiting room play environment.
The commission will take twelve months. Addenbrokes hospital would not be able to afford this scale of work but due to the award, a new type of hospital art has been able to be developed. With the help of the Addenbrokes art curator Guy Noble we can produce something quite extra ordinary.
