I have made film, video & installation art since 1999.
I am at the moment working on a bigger project involving the making of a life size, glass bead dress. In one way it forms part of my research for this project, to develop and explore possibilities of how to use the dress within film/video as we as it being a sculpture
My work is mainly concerned with themes relating to dreams and escapism; I try to create atmospheres that can take you away from the everyday. The dress project draws links with magic and fairytales, the princess and the dream and fantasy of a perfect beautiful dress on the perfect day.
