The residency will give me the opportunity to explore and develop my work within a creative and vibrant interactive setting. making use of the resources available to me would enable me to make work that is exciting, challenging and diverse. I use many different mediums within my work including painting, sketchbooks, assemblage, photography, mosaic and batik. I aim to use the residency to develop work that could later be included into a gallery or exhibition space. The work would be based around Liverpool; its community, diversity and architecture would be examined. The residency will give me valuable creative time away from work constraints to produce thoughtful and considered work executed to a high professional standard. I will enjoy working with other artists and meeting students to discuss relevant fine art practises and would be happy to answer students questions about my work.
