The AA2A scheme offered me the opportunity to experiment with tile making in both ceramic and glass. The time at the college was a hugely exciting, positive and rewarding experience!

The fused, glass tiles were the result of a fascinating exploration of materials and techniques. Colour, mark, surface texture and a unique quality of depth was achieved through the layering process. The tiles, backed with silver leaf, have been combined with glass mosaic tesserae demonstrating how the materials could be combined for use in both public and domestic situations.
