The AA2A scheme will give me the opportunity to develop my ideas and processes, to discover new materials and to take my practice to a higher level. My current practice has concentrated on using plastic multiple units from commercial and industrial environments, referencing geometry and mathematical theory.

I plan to use the AA2A scheme to make a new departure by using textured, softer, textile based materials and to use the Science Department to inform and influence my work. This will allow me to continue my investigations into understanding the world around us through the relationship between art and science. The facilities available at Worcester University will give me an opportunity to improve my technical skills and abilities together with learning new processes. Most importantly the scheme will allow me to work in a creative environment enriched by students, artists and staff – enabling my practice through debate, support and challenges.
