My current practice has centred on linear boundaries and time. I hope to extend and look at the boundaries we as humans experience, every facet of our Western lives are bound ~ laws ~ expectations ~ barriers ~ time ~ ownerships ~ attitudes ~ spirit ~ place ~ ownership and provenance of possession. I want to create a body of work based around the issue of personal and institutional boundaries in order to form an exhibition that will explore this phenomenon. I am interested in finding out more about the experience and working on how to visually express this. Through the media of my practice where I hope to work with print, graphite drawing and layers of ink on aluminium and steel sheet, along with formed textiles I aim to express these boundaries in a visual form.
