I am interested in exploring the use of screening to separate one space from another in a purposeful way, without creating an obtrusive barrier, whilst allowing light to pass through to varying degrees, enhancing the natural effects of the materials used.

I have worked almost exclusively with glass for the last three years and am now interested in transferring ideas and designs into softer, more malleable media, including textiles and printing techniques, allowing layering of materials to add texture and variable density to pieces of work.

I aim to produce a number of self-supporting screens using techniques and materials available on the AA2A scheme.
