Gina Gordon

My current practice involves the use of repetitive wire forms. Dipping or coating them in wax or plaster results in delicate and fragile images - no two are alike yet the basic forms are exactly the same. Initially made in response to physical and mental health issues, especially OCD, they have now become my own obsession.

My natural tendency is to make work on the spur of the moment - have an idea and immediately put it into practice. I find this way of working very exciting and the experimentation involved is a continuing process.
