This scheme offered me time to relax and experiment, which I haven't managed to achieve since leaving Wolverhampton University in 2000. The work is all about collaboration, so working with the glass department and Lazlo's neon company has increased my awareness of this fascinating medium, which will directly influence future projects and commissions.
