Working title: ‘The scent of light’

To deepen my exploration of how I experience light in the landscape. I plan to base this in the village where I grew up, exploring high and low levels of photographic and video image quality and definition (-polaroid, contact prints, duratrans and 5x4 format photography)together with forms of presentation (light-box, video and book making)

The scheme will allow me to gain access to equipment and resources that I am current unable to use. Also, there is the stimulus of a University environment, where my lovingly held ideas and beliefs can be questioned and challenged. I see this as an unsettling and creative experience.

I hope to develop a coherent body of work for an exhibition at Worcester Art Gallery - the work will evolve from pushing my creative boundaries - to move beyond my comfort zone.
