I am currently working on a project that uses the novella “The Ebony Tower” by John Fowles as its starting point. I aim to use my access time develop a series of relief prints and etchings that without the opportunity that AA2A provides would be almost impossible for me to complete.

I am very keen to add Print to my practise to sit alongside painting. My belief that print offers a way of preserving the direct expressions that I find more difficult to retain in paint and that are a key part of my drawings

Having recently made my first relief print and being selected to exhibit at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, I would very much like to capitalise on this experience and the positive feedback received by developing a new body of work. Access to equipment in the print department and some technical assistant would be a major advantage.

I hope that the opportunity will give me the freedom to progress in terms of ideas, technical ability and in a career sense.
