As a sculptor specializing in figurative ceramics I have recently explored the impact of featuring filmed images within the presentation of my pieces to extend their meaning and concept. Under the umbrella of the AA2A Initiative, invaluable technical support from Cleveland College of Art & Design enabled me to produce a DVD of a standard commensurate with my aim within a Gallery context. Subsequently an exhibition hosted by the Dorman Gallery, Cleveland, in which moving images 'clothed' my sculpture, was so well received by both Press and Public alike that I am encouraged to further pursue development of my work in this direction.
