The AA2A scheme offered me fantastic chance to get back into my work
after I had taken a break when my second child was born one and a half
years ago. It provides an ideal working situation for someone in my
situation and I believe that makes the scheme very special.
I have been working at Barnet College since October last year and
experienced a very good working atmosphere and a lot of support by
teaching staff and technicians and interest by students.
Time for my artwork is still very limited, since I have got two
children. I did accumulate a lot of ideas, designs and sketches over
the last two years, but had no time nor space to build them in life-size and further develop their potential. With the opportunity of working in a fully equipped workshop, with technical help and a material budget, I could plunge straight into my work without having to waste time on setting up a studio by myself.
