The AA2A Scheme provided a valuable opportunity to utilise current digital technology to enable the creation of artwork which celebrated the beauty of the handwritten, the very skill that the same application, by the means of typed text, is eroding. Through the use of scanning and photoshop nine pieces were printed, up to two metres in length, bringing together texts, language, pattern, saved letters and documents. Each one relates to the inherited gift of 'making' with the drawing, writing, and calculation necessary to start and finish a design or project.
