Through the AA2A Scheme I will explore elements of cross over between my own subject discipline (Fine Art) and textiles and explore print and video too. I have recently started to make large scale paper works which are a cross over between sculpture, drawing and textiles.

The opportunity will provide me with the environment to test out ideas and get critical feedback from peers. It will provide me with the opportunity to refine the technical and creative issues surrounding this new body of work and I aim to exhibit the results within the art school setting.

My main aim is to produce a body of work that crosses over between the areas outlined above but also to conduct library research to contextualise and critique my practice. I see this opportunity as a good stepping stone to applying for my MA Fine Art. As an artist who is new to Lincoln it will help me settle in and set up my new practice.
