The photograph forms part of an artist book collaboration with
publisher/poet Alec Finlay/BALTIC Gateshead due to be published 2003/2004,
and contains a series of episodes of images that suggest a darkness and
austerity of a life journey and a philosophical journey. The photograph is
of the stone foundations of Wittgenstein's hut overlooking Lake Eidsvatnet.
This is the culminating motif - a basis and bedrock for thought and
contemplation.
