My work revolves around texture, colour and design within glass. Organic materials fired between glass layers leave their original shape imprinted sometimes a silver residue of their shape.š I have tried to find colour from unusual materials other than expensive enamels, copper oxide and brass powders give varying shades of blues and biege. Fine wire, mesh, foils are excellent for designs. To be shown at its best glass needs light, part of my time with AA2A has been to design and make light frames and boxs to display the work.
